I wanted to dump my tailgate - pretty flimsy. I chose the G88 stiffener because it invaded such little bed space. And because of the tie down anchors. They installed perfectly, but make sure Your 3/8 bit is sharp!

I was originally going to bolt a wooden plank to the stiffeners, but I realized some chain would look cleaner and would not need refurbishing. The chain presents a clean custom look. And it will keep buckets and stuff from sliding out of the bed.

I don't really need the tailgate, but if I ever do... It's in the shed and takes less than 2 minutes to install. Hope someone is inspired by this!
